My figure drawing sketchbook has become dusty after the holidays. It is one of my goals for the year to fill it up. The goal is to quickly render the figure. These are not complicated drawings that I spend much time on. My aim is to improve my ability to capture gesture. I work from a mixture of models from magazines and real life models.

As I've noted here before, when I became disabled my drawing ability was severely damaged. I can still draw, but with great effort, and it just isn't the same as I used to be.

These drawings aren't so hot, but I post them publicly because I'm tired of being held back from fear of failure. So there you are. Mock at will! I can take it. :)
