havent been too healthy lately, absolutely HATE the weather where i live, and cant get any work done whilst in this condition.
so.
im glad things r doing better for you!! watched any good movies lately??
i saw The Crow *again* starring Brandon Lee...
It's so funny that you like the book Pride and Prejudice ~ I recently tried to read it as part of my 101 things to do in 1001 days and found it nearly impossible to get into. Oh well ~ I'm with you on the Harry Potter books, though. I almost added them to the list...but just ran out of space!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by my T13, sorry it took so long to visit yours.
I see you're doing NaNoWriMo! It's great! I did it last year....and I won! by that I mean that I completed my 50,000 words and downloaded a lovely certificate! My resulting novel is a total mess, but-
1) I have the satisfaction of saying I DID IT
2) I have some great ideas buried in the rubble of that messy novel, and next year (as in Jan 2007) I plan to dust it off and get back at it. Figure out how it should all work together. It's nice to know how it ends!
Keep up the good work, Douglas!
Jenny-up the hill ~ Good luck with NaNoWriMo. I think it's a lost cause for me this year. I simply didn't have enough time to dedicate to it.
Carol ~ LOL Great comment. Insomnia is NOT fun to have at all. I fell asleep last night FINALLY at 6am. Got up around 10am. I am so tired.
alisonwonderland ~ Likewise!
Solbearer ~ The Crow is a powerful movie. I haven't seen it in a while, but I remember liking it very much. Sorry to hear about your lack of health. I know how much that can be a drain on one's happiness. Hope you have a better December! :)
Janene ~ Finding positive things out of the negative is a carefully wrought talent I have developed over the past ten years. It doesn't come easy because it's easier to grumble, gripe, and grouse. It's even easier to feel sorry for yourself. But if you have goals you will soon see that the negative things are not as much of an obstacle as your attitude about them. As soon as I figured out that bad things happened no matter what I did, I figured out that the only thing I truly had control over was my attitude. And I prefer to be positive - even if I have to break a sweat and strain to think that way.
Life, as you know, has a way of piling on negative things like water from a bucket. Gives us optimists a real hard time. ;)
JAM ~ Hey, no worries. I appreciate the visit whenever you are able to drop by.
amy ~ Thanks!
Heidi the Hick ~ NaNoWriMo was not in my cards this year. I became swamped four days into November. I don't feel bad about it because I learned some important things about myself and my writing AND I had more important projects to work on. ;) But congrats on what you accomplished. Good luck with that novel.
Melissa ~ :) Let me know when it's up. I'll drop by and visit.
~Douglas
